British Street Food Award

Yorkshire boarn business Market Wraps celebrated its 5th birthday by investing on a converted horsebox to sell Yorkshire food. Co-Owner Carl Denning decided to get a horsebox in honour of his grandparents who in the 1950s went all around Yorkshire selling the original street food – homemade ice-cream.

imageCarl’s grandparents used a horse and cart to do this. We kept the cart and got rid of the horse, Carl has said, showing off there new venture “The Allotment”, a horsebox that as been made to look like a Yorkshire allotment.

Carl and Robs hard work as now paid off as they have been shortlisted for the best looking street food mobile in the UK by the British Street Food awards.

They have already won a small business award from TVs Dragens Den, Theo Paphits.
