Carl Denning, 41 of Hunslet, Leeds is over the moon when Dragon’s Den star Theo Paphisit has handpicked Leeds business Market Wraps as one of the winners of the Small Business Sunday award. Carl, owner of Market Wraps, a Leeds based street food business that specialise in Bbq slow cooked meats served in his Mums handmade flatbreads on Leeds farmers market is over joyed to win the title, “This means a lot to me, it’s great to be recognised and have a spotlight on our business, especially by Theo, It has been a tough few years for me personally, which makes the award even more important” Carl who as been battling pancreatic cancer while creating and pushing his business thanks all the support he as had by his friends and family, “together we where not only able to carry on the business, but also make it grow into something special, it feels amazing that we have all been recognised for making Market Wraps the business it is”

Theo says, “As a big BBQ fan myself Market Wraps immediately caught my attention. I was impressed by their site, customer feedback and their commitment to putting on a great outdoor eating experience while also producing their own sauces. Hopefully we will see Market Wraps at food festivals in the years to come!”
